Naked in the sauna is the way to the sauna. In a public sauna, always have a towel or around the waist (if you're small), or sat on it. The towel removes pool of sweat that collects under your buttocks so that the next man does not sit.
Immediately cover-up when someone is likely to make it very uncomfortable and speculation about you!
only normal. If you think you have to be naked, go ahead.
(I wear underwear anyway.)
