Used Class C Motorhomes Reliability Of (newer) Used Motorhomes?

Reliability of (newer) used motorhomes? - used class c motorhomes

My family (wife, 4 years, 2 large dogs) moves across the country, and the dogs are too old and too big to travel by plane. My wife is suggesting that mobile home or the United States in the Class A or C, or get a tow package to tow a truck and pop-up vehicles.
I'm trying to decide whether to go for the pop-ups or RVs.

My question is, are Class A / Class C motorhomes reliable? If I have that approved by an engineer, I do not take it with a broken journey of 2,800 miles? Or they are like the boats, where they can go wrong in all times? What we have to sell when we reached our goal. We have provided money for gasoline, however unexpected failures would kill our budget, and we stayed. Thank you!

I vote for a pop-up. My minivan is much more reliable than all would be for RV. We used our pop-up, and I love it. But you just go on weekend camps. Good luck.

I, you'll take mini-van. The first thing you should know, is above all what he can draw, as he has now ... and who can make a big difference between the brands, models, engine size and with a factory towing package (if available) or not equipped. This could solve the problem there on the pop-up.

A factory towing package in the average vehicle consists of much more than the hooks and wiring. As a rule, also include: the wider tires, a bigger radiator, fan cooler large blade, shock absorber and HD sources, electrical high-definition, a transmission cooler oil pump ... and the coupling and electrical connection. If you need all this expansion, it would cost a fortune.

I do not think it has set its budget, is the depreciation experienced by the mobile home ... It will probably sell for less than what you paid for it ... and remember that you day & title and secure.

Let me throw a 3rd Option. Perhaps withsider renting a Class C, Cruise America, are one of the largest RV rental companies at home ... and could do better renting and not just about buying and selling of items cares ... and if it breaks, then it is up to them, is not it ... and allow pets in their vehicles ... and can offer one-way rentals.

Finanical not a wise decision, an RV for a single ticket purchase.
